So the current item is just an illustration, but I'll be creating the rest of the page design around that illustration.

I'll be creating a front page layout and a secondary page layout.

We need to figure out want we want here and the layout. There's an outdated/incomplete outline here - http://drupalkata.com/drupaldojo/node/344

Feel free to tweak and sketch out your ideas.

This is so awesome! Can't wait to see the rest of your ideas.

Great start, Trevor! So is looks like you're going to have a handle on both the design and themeing? Or do we still need a dedicated designer? Also want to be sure we're on the same page about what the end result should be for the Dojo - as far as I can tell this issue is unresolved - http://drupalkata.com/drupaldojo/node/114#comment-103

Keep the great ideas coming, but let's make it a goal to have our site spec/milestones/cost finalized next week.

Well after much creative blockage and pushing this aside for paying work, I finally got through a few iterations and have a rough page layout. Looking foward to comments and suggestions as we flesh out some of the lower portions of that page.

I'm assuming this is what we'd use for nodes such as lessons? By the looks of an example page, we definitely need to tweak and implement - http://dev.drupaldojo.com/lessons/using-ogpanels-groupsdrupalorg

Related to this are some issues pertaining to this content type and workflow -

I love that mockup, @Trevor! I've started laying out the theme (using zen 960 as a base). One item we'll need to sort out is sponsor banners and the like. Gus, any idea of what size banners you're looking for? And where should we be putting them in the layout?

also, we'll need to place the user login for anonymous users.
